El Morro Fortress

A photograph of Castillo de los Tres Reyes del Morro-known simply as El Morro-as is continues to guard the city of Havana like it has since the late 16th century. Its weathered stone walls, rounded watchtowers and commanding position above the sea reflect centuries of colonial defense and maritime history.
